If your first ride or your horse’s first ride happens before registering as an ERASA member, there are some things that will need to be done to ensure that your first endurance ride experience is a happy one.
If you have not registered your horse with ERASA, you are still able to do a 40km ride if your horse has a certificate of health from your vet with the horse’s AHS and Equine Influenza record administered by a vet.
If you are not yet affiliated with ERASA, you can still do a 40km ride as a day rider. You will need to take enough cash with you for manual registration at the venue. It will help organizers if you notify them of your coming, as to arrange catering and accommodation.
